Valerie Martin

Program Coordinator, Lancaster County

Valerie joined Good Sam in April of 2025. A recent graduate of Garden Spot High School, she has always had a heart for helping others and is excited to continue that passion through her work here.

Before joining Good Sam, she worked as a Physical Therapist Aid at Lancaster Orthopedic Group in Ephrata. In her current role, she coordinates volunteer projects and donations—and loves the variety of tasks and the opportunity to connect with people each day.

Outside of work, Valerie is actively involved with her church, Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community, especially through the young adults’ program. Her heart for service extends globally—she recently spent five weeks in Kenya on a medical mission trip.

With a long-term goal of building meaningful relationships with both participants and volunteers, she’s passionate about making a lasting impact and helping the Good Sam grow. In her free time, she loves hiking, kayaking, and anything outdoors. She’s also a proud cat mom to Kenni and has three older brothers—and one sweet niece.
