Kristin joined Good Samaritan Services in July of 2022 as a counselor to develop and implement the organization’s counseling program. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who graduated from Millersville University School of Social Work with both her BSW and MSW. She also received high honors from Phi Alpha for her study in the social work field. Kristin has over 18 years of experience working in the social work field. She began serving individuals, families, children, and adolescents in 2006 while working in the behavioral health field, wraparound (IBHS), and clinical outpatient therapy. Kristin is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I). She is also trained in EMDR trauma therapy. She provides care to Good Sam participants in all five of our locations.
Kristin’s work in the mental health field focuses on reframing thoughts, resiliency building skills, systems theory approach, Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Solution-Focused/ Task-Centered treatment. She is dedicated to advocating for individuals while also collaborating with community resources. Kristin values the importance of relationships and is excited to walk alongside Good Sam participants in their journey of finding hope, healing, and self-worth.
Kristin lives in Lancaster County with her husband and three children. When she is not working, you may find her gardening, reading, painting, or spending time with her family.
