Melissa Horst

Chester County Program

Melissa has served at Good Samaritan Services since 2012. Previously, Melissa worked at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook, PA, and at Prompt in Play in Wilmington, DE. In addition to her current work at Good Samaritan Services, Melissa serves as a volunteer, teaching the early reading class at the Honey Brook Library and serves as a member of the PTO at her children’s school. Melissa and her husband, Trent, live in Honey Brook with their two children. They are members at Grace Outlet Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Reading. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, and serving the community with their church family. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at Andrew’s University in Berrien Springs, MI. She holds a certificate in Strength-Based Family Social Work and Strength-Based Leadership from Temple University.
