That was the case for Matt, a single dad with three kids—the oldest of whom has cerebral palsy.
He moved into our single dad housing and there, he and his kids have had the opportunity to thrive. Matt owns his own HVAC company and while at Good Sam, he’s not only had the support needed to grow his business but also take the next steps toward stability.
And it’s been life-changing—especially for his 11-year-old daughter Ava. With cerebral palsy, Ava has limited mobility in her legs. Because Matt had the safety net of Good Sam to lean on, Ava was able to get a much-needed surgery that will improve her posture and stability—helping her to walk better!
