Foxwynd Foundation Awards $42,000 Grant to Good Samaritan Services to Expand Counseling Program
[Chester County, PA] – Good Samaritan Services (Good Sam) is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a generous $42,000 grant from the Foxwynd Foundation to support its counseling program. This critical funding, made possible through the Foxwynd Foundation DAF (Donor-Advised Fund), will enable Good Sam to provide free, professional therapy to individuals experiencing homelessness, empowering them to move toward emotional healing and long-term stability.

Since its launch in July 2022, Good Sam’s counseling program has served 211 individuals, with every participant reporting reduced levels of depression and anxiety symptoms. These positive outcomes underscore the importance of addressing mental health as a core component of overcoming homelessness.
