August 8th, 2021 was a difficult day for Good Sam. Within 7 weeks of purchasing a new property to continue serving the community of Ephrata, a devastating fire broke out in the building and put our plans on hold.
This year on August 8th, exactly one year and many repairs and renovations later, we were able to celebrate new beginnings with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for our newest residential property that will provide housing for the Ephrata community!
We’re so grateful to all of our partners and supporters in the community who made this project possible. Thank you for believing in our work and the value of providing safe, stable housing in a loving and encouraging environment for our community members and neighbors in need. Because of your generosity, lives will be changed for years to come within these walls.
