Sheryl joined the staff of Good Samaritan Services as a housing resource coordinator in August 2021. At the age of 42, she returned to college and received her Master of Social Work from Millersville University in 2014. Prior to coming to Good Sam, she provided case management with foster parents at Lancaster County Children and Youth. Most recently, she served with the Rebel Cause emergency day and shelters for those experiencing homelessness. As a former foster parent, Sheryl has personal experience with and training in adoption trauma and sexual abuse.
Sheryl enjoys listening to others’ life stories and feels privileged when individuals share them with her. She lives in Eastern Lancaster County with her husband, Randy. They have 6 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
