Floyd Shirk, House Manager at Good Sam since January 2022, began his journey as an overnight monitor at our winter shelter. Overcoming a 20-year battle with addiction, Floyd is now in his 6th year of recovery, finding solace in his faith and commitment to men’s ministry. As our first House Manager for the men’s housing in Ephrata, he sees his role as a blessing and a way to give back.
In his free time, Floyd actively leads a men’s support group and biblical studies at City Gate Ephrata, and serves as a group leader at Celebrate Recovery. He enjoys discipleship, mentoring, and outdoor activities like mountain biking and fishing. Floyd’s dedication to personal and communal growth shines through his impactful contributions to the Good Sam community and beyond.
